Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 from Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory and Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. Three siblings are hers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was in second grade when she entered kindergarten at age five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She also competed at Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated in New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to explore a modeling career. She did so and signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Then, she moved to Europe for a time, and lived in Milan as well as Paris. Stone, however, became dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to pursue her career as an actress while she was in Europe. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" at the age of twenty. The film received mixed reviews.
